Welcome to the 2020 UKC Performance Championship Trial hosted by the MidWest Region and the “Rock Creek Field Trial Association” located in Waverly, Nebraska.

This trial will begin on Wednesday, June 10, 2020. The draw is now available on the website and it included in this mailing.

Round 1 (Wed & Thurs)         Beat Your Brace-mate  (BYBM) – 16 dogs advance from each of 4 fields, 64 total.

Round 2 (Fri)                          Top 8 scoring dogs advance from each of 2 fields , 16 dogs total.

Round 3 (Sat)                          BYBM  - 8 dogs in each field, 4 dogs advance, 8 total.

Round 4 (Sat)                          BYBM – 4 dogs in each field, 2 dogs advance, 4 total.

Round 5 (Sat)                          BYBM – 4 dogs in one field, 2 dogs advance. (2nd and 3rd runners-up determined by score.)

Round 6 (Sat)                          Final Hour



Social distancing is encouraged.  There will be sanitizing stations positioned throughout the area for your use.  Masks are optional.  If you feel more comfortable wearing one, please do so.

The trial coordinator will be set up in an area with limited access.  There will be people designated to carry the score cards and post the results.  Please no congregating at the score sheets.  We request that you use the NSTRA’s website and online trial reporting feature to monitor results.

At the time of this writing, there will be no meals provided at the trial grounds. You must bring and provide your own food.  Breakfast and lunch will be provided to trial officials only.    Restaurants in Lincoln are open for carry-out orders and a few are open for inside dining.

All campsites with electricity are reserved, however, there are a few open with no electricity.  Water is provided and there will be a sewer dump two times during the week.  For those of you with electric sites, please bring a splitter for a 110 outlet with you.  Contact Todd Hendrix if you need further campsite information.

There are trials being held prior to the national trial.  Dave Paitz is the chairman and he can be reached at 402-450-5725 or  Due to the interest in this trial and the number of entries, all of the trials prior to the national event will be drawn using the 64-dog open format.

Please note that the United Kennel Club (UKC) sponsors this trial in conjunction with NSTRA.  UKC is the only registry that designates NSTRA National and Regional championships on the pedigrees of each dog registered with UKC.
